Birth Place is listed as Niemkowicz Russia on the Ship Manifest for Ivan and his father Evgeny. On his Draft Registration, Ivan listed his birth place as Minsk, Russia. On his Alien Registration, he lists his place of birth as Russia, Minsroy Guberni, Gorod Minkowich. His Declaration of Intention lists Minsk, Russia while his Marriage LIcense simply lists it as Russia. Family oral history had that Ivan was from the Pinsk area which is south of Minsk yet still in the Minsk Guberni. After study, I believe their hometown was Неньковичі which translates into Nen'kovychi which is about 40km south of Pinsk. In an 1899 map of the Minsk Guberni, it appears that Неньковичі is in the Guberni. On today's maps it is now in the Ukraine.
